What does Christmas look like to you? It was the late 1960s and Joyce Byers, an amateur artist with a degree in fashion design, was disappointed in what she was seeing in the stores: aluminum tinsel trees with garish blue lights. She was looking for holiday decorations with warmth that showed respect for timeless traditions and her own memories of Christmas. continue... May 19, 2008 Open House On May 19, 2008, just like last year,Byers' Choice held an open house. Again, only a few select dearlers, including ourselves, were invited to attend. We were able to choose the carolers we liked and all were signed by Joyce Byers. Joyce also had a few special pieces just for the open house only. Shown below are the limited pieces and if you are interested in any other signed carolers, at our regular retail prices, please feel free to contact us. |
